Payment and delivery

By placing an order, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in the privacy policy.

Terms of Delivery in Brief:

  1. Products have a 14-day return policy. Returns are free.
  2. For products available in stock, we aim to ship within 2 business days, but the delivery time depends on the destination country. If the ordered product is exceptionally out of stock, the customer will be notified immediately.
  3. If the consumer has received the wrong product or the product is defective, the consumer should notify us immediately via the email below.
  4. We are not responsible if the delivery of the order is prevented, complicated, or delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, such as war, natural disaster, export or import ban, decision by authorities, disruption of public transportation, or other similar activities that hinder or prevent the operation of our online store.

Detailed Terms of Delivery

1. Delivery Time

We aim to ship the products within 2 business days after the order. We have no control on the final delivery times themselves and can only initiate the shipping promptly.

We use the Finnish postal services, Posti, for shipping. Usually delivery in Finland is within a few days.

Posti describes the international shipping times as follows:

“The delivery time for the package is 1-2 working days to the Baltic countries, 2-5 working days to the Nordic countries and 3-7 working days to the rest of Europe and 6-14 working days to the rest of the world.

Delivery times are indicative. The date of posting is not included in the delivery time. Posti is not responsible for delays caused to shipments by customs measures.”

2. Delivery Methods and costs

We use Posti, the Finnish postal service for shipping.

For other countries, please contact us by email to plan the most affordable and secure shipment method.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email along with a link through which you can conveniently track the progress of your order.

2.1 Finland

The shipping cost is €7.90.

The delivery options in Finland are as follows:

- Pickup from your chosen Posti location

Collect the products you ordered from your own Posti. You will be notified via text message or email when your package arrives, and you can pick up your shipment from Posti on the day of arrival after 4 PM.

- Pickup from your chosen Posti parcel locker

Collect the products you ordered from your chosen Posti parcel locker. You will be notified via text message when your package arrives, and you can pick up your shipment from the locker immediately.

In Finnish: "Käytämme Postia ja tyypillisesti paketti tulee noudettavaksi lähimpään Postin toimipisteeseen, esimerkiksi asiamiespostin toimipisteeseen. Paketti voi myös päätyä Postin lokeroon. Posti ilmoittaa, mistä paketti on noudettavissa."

2.2 EU and Great Britain

We use Posti, the Finnish postal service for shipping abroad. For international destinations the pick-up location differs based on Posti’s local partner in a country.

The shipping cost is €13.00.

2.3 Other Countries

For other countries, please contact us by email to plan the most affordable and secure shipment method. We can use Posti here, too, but it might not be the most affordable and practical.

The customer is responsible for any customs processes and fees if such are applicable in your respective country. These fees are not covered by us and are not subject to returns by us in case the customer wants to return the products.

3. Payment Methods

Our webshop uses Vilkas as the webshop platform and with it Paytrail Plc as the payment service provider.

Paytrail supports numerous payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfer, MobilePay, etc.

Outside the EU, there might be additional customs costs that might be added locally, and not covered by us.

3.1 Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website the payment was made to.

4. Return Policy and Product Exchanges

Products have a full 14-day return policy. The product to be returned must be unused and unaltered. Returns in EU are free and on other countries the buyer bears the costs. Any customs fees are not covered nor refunded by us.

If you want to return the product, please contact us for planning the return at the email address below.

However, we kindly ask you to provide the following information in your notification:

  • Reason for the return (if defective or incorrect product)
  • Buyer's identification details (name / order number)
  • Whether you just want to return the product and get your money back or if you wish us to send a replacement product for the defective or incorrect product (and we will compensate for any possible difference).

The refund will be made back to the original payment method used in the order (not, for example, by bank transfer).

5. Complaints

We request that all complaints related to orders or deliveries be sent within seven (7) days of receiving the order to the email address below.

Please do note that the lures are handmade and slight variations in color and details are to be expected.

6. Order Cancellation

The customer can cancel the order if the delivery has not occurred within a reasonable time. Order cancellation must be notified to the email address below. We usually inform our customers by email or phone if the delivery time differs from normal. Monkeylurefactory.fi also reserves the right to cancel an order and refund the customer's account.
